Once your company is incorporated, you should set up basic stationery and identity materials for smooth business operations. Below is a simple checklist.
A name board must be displayed outside the registered office of the company.
It should clearly mention:
- Full Company Name
- CIN (Corporate Identification Number)
- Registered Office Address
- Email ID
- Phone Number
- GST Number (if available)
- Website (if available)
This is a mandatory requirement for all companies.
Your official correspondence must be done only on the company letterhead.
The letterhead should include:

- Website (if available)
- GST Number (if available)
- Corporate Logo (if available)
Letterheads are required for:
- Bank account opening
- Government filings
- Clients and vendors
- Statutory communications
You should prepare two types of stamps:
(a) “For” Stamp
Example:
FOR ABC PRIVATE LIMITED
(used for signing documents)
Director/ Managing Director
(b) Round Seal
Example:
Circular stamp containing:
- Company Name
- City
- CIN
Used for bank documents, agreements, invoices, etc.
You may print visiting cards for:
- Directors
- Key employees
- Business development teams
The cards usually include:
- Name
- Designation
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- Company address
- Logo
Recommended if you have staff or plan to hire soon.
ID cards normally contain:
- Employee name
- Employee code
- Photo
- Designation
- Company logo
- Company envelopes
- File covers
- Rubber stamps for “Paid”, “Received”, “Approved”
- Company-branded notebooks or folders
